VP commercial Loan Officer: Responsible for developing new business, underwriting, analyzing and authorizing or recommending for approval new commercial and real estate loans as well as maintaining and servicing an existing portfolio. A four (4) year degree and at least five (5) years of banking experience preferred.

• Interviews prospective applicants and requests required information related to loan or credit applications; corresponds or re-interviews applicants to resolve questions regarding application information; assures that proper loan information is collected to maintain acceptable credit standards and conform to bank policy
• Analyzes applicant financial status, credit, and property evaluation to determine feasibility of granting loan; approves loans within established lending limits or refers and recommends acceptance to the bank's loan committee
• Coordinates processing of approved loans; ensures loans are processed according to agreement, customer needs and conform to bank lending policies; obtains sufficient information and / or documentation from customers; solve problems relative to processing and servicing of loans within assigned portfolio; approves loan disbursements in accordance with agreements
• Assists customers with completing annual financial statements and projecting cash flow utilizing previous year's tax return records
• Maintains database and monitors performance of loan portfolio to ensure proper risk ratings and early identification of potential problems
• Maximizes bank profitability through appropriate pricing of new loan originations, fee income and selling of all bank products and services
• Must have strong involvement in the community
• Performs other duties as assigned
